Course Delivery

This course can be delivered/assessed in the workplace or at facility organised by the training provider.

Course Durations

Course durations can vary for multiple reasons, so the durations below are the minimum possible amount.

Blended Face to Face contact time of at least 0 Mins
Face-to-Face Face to Face contact time of at least 0 Mins

Pre-course study: Students may be required to undertake online pre-course work prior to attending the face to face session depending on the course delivery mode.

Online study: Students must have access to a computer, smartphone, tablet or other electronic device with access to the internet to complete the online/ pre-course studies.

This certificate does not require renewal

Students are required to complete a self evaluation against the following core skills as part of the enrolment process. This will allow your trainer to understand any additional support that may be required during the course delivery and assessment.
Learning I can follow basic instructions to complete tasks in an emergency situation.
Reading I can read and understand simple safety signs, labels, and written instructions.
Writing I can write or complete simple forms if required, such as recording incident details.
Oral Communication I can communicate clearly with others, including emergency services, when giving first aid.
Numeracy I can count to maintain the correct rate of chest compressions during CPR.
